Become more diverse?
Have fun explaining to parents that you need to expell their students for some DEIs.
"But Mr and Mrs Smith I ensure you we picked the whitest ones - I'm afraid Timothy has to leave".

People will say shit like that and then turn around and tell you with a straight face that diversity isn't about excluding or replacing white people.
I mean, I get why diversity is important, and that the concept itself isn't about that. But in implementation, there certainly are cases where that's how it happens. Pretending it never does is disingenuous and doesn't help solve the issue.
What does solve it?
Maybe we could all stop viewing life as a zero-sum game or an endless competition where we need to step on other people's toes in order to boost ourselves up.
Maybe we should put the focus on learning to coexist instead of perpetuating endless cycles of grievance and retaliation for perceived wrongs.
I don't know exactly, can't guarantee what will work, but those two things seem like a good starting point.
