Wikipedia links it to Fortune-telling for some reason? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%F0%9F%94%AF but doesn't elaborate?

emojis wiki says it's something to do with buddhism? https://emojis.wiki/dotted-six-pointed-star/

It's a really weird symbol

Also found this reddit thread with explanations all over the place https://www.reddit.com/r/Emoji/comments/16buwk0/meaning_of_dotted_sixpointed_star/

The unicode explanation simply says "SIX POINTED STAR WITH MIDDLE DOT" (very helpful) (not)

and the official chart has an arrow to the star of david and that's it https://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U1F300.pdf

Yes... babies... known for drawing intelligible and not at all weird stuff lol

also the weird part is how the meaning of the symbol seems to be really obscure but also common enough to make it into unicode not the symbol itself. Hence my question about the meaning and not how to draw it...

out of curiosity what is the point of your comment? Like did you expect me to just say "oh yeah I guess it is very easy to draw and not weird at all, question answered thanks"?
