Having a hard time at home, mate? Punching down on women is pretty cringe.
Punching down? So women are second class, is that it? Below men? Wish you weren’t so fuckin awkward bud
According to a lot of current leaders of governments......yes. That's kinda the whole point of women's liberation movements all over the world throughout modern history.
Also, punching down in comedy doesn't mean the person is actually inferior to you, it just means that they unfairly have less power or representation.
Wish you weren't so fucking uneducated bud.
How is less power not being below? I feel like you want to mince words so you can be an ass about a joke based on technicality.
Having less representation on a societal level does not make you an inferior person...... It just means that the society you belong to sucks.
I don't think you were trying to make a joke, jokes are supposed to be funny.
Haha sure, man. He's posted twice today complaining about his marriage while painting it as a women problem.
He has posted a bunch of memes today, he seems more like an unselective reposter than a "wife bad🤣" person. Isn't the point of this meme more about the 14h (?!) shift and the problems it causes?
The number of downvotes tells everything about Lemmy. Leftist space, my arse.
I've actually lost a bit of faith in Lemmy lately after seeing a gross amount of conservative and incel talking points.
Yeah, in regards to feminism this place is like half a step above Truth Central. So many but hurt men who reflexibly go into attack mode the second they feel ever so slight pushback.
Nobody wants to have a debate about gender roles in a meme community you knob. Quit making every space about your virtue signalling
Then i might suggest not posting memes about gender roles.
Looking at the discussions in this post that seems to be something this post has inspired.
Too many antisocial programmers who think liking open source automatically makes them a leftist.
Replace "wife" with "spouse" and the meme still jives
No one said anything about punching women...
