Yeah my synthesis is that

• electoralism can do small but significant things
• they'll probably just get fed up and start blasting us
• political work is seen by most people as one of only two ways to demonstrate an ability to lead a society. The other is being a capitalist.
• burning shit down is just going to make relatively comfortable people think you're crazy and violent
• there's value in demonstrating that you already tried the nice way. They did this in Russia for example
• if America came under the control of even a super half-ass demsoc regime, it would probably (probably) be much less willing to kill leftists in other countries than Democrats or Republicans. This can give a ton of breathing room to people worldwide
