Democrats do pretty good when they have power and show me someone who saw the choice between Trump and Harris and decided not to vote and I'll show you a fool.
I'll pay attention to DSA when they start winning purple votes and I stand by that.
incredible principles.
No wonder the democrats have a reputation as professional losers
Professional losers?
They win half the time.
It’s third parties that usually are a rounding error.
and true to form even when they win they manage to be losers. not satisfied with just being losers, their 'foreign policy' is genocidal
Their support of Israel was horrible but now that genocide has gotten worse and expanded to other countries and the Russians have stepped up their genocide of Ukraine so the world is worse off.
they supported a genocide and managed to do absolutely nothing about things like healthcare or reigning in executive power and now it's all blown up in their faces
the reason inflation/affordability was even an issue that Trump could reference stems from their genocidal and feckless 'foreign policy'. Energy prices would not have been nearly as high if they had found a way to de-escalate with russia and reigned in israel. instead we're on the path to world war 3 and you're insisting we keep voting for those fucking losers
Russia escalated with the world when they invaded Ukraine that isn't the democrats fault.
Inflation is/was a world wide problem that was getting under control under Biden.
The biggest problem america faces today is a good two thirds of its population is so far removed from reality that there is no way to reach them anymore.
you're telling me, I don't think I can reach you and you're extremely removed from reality
You're talking about partnering with genocidal invaders to try to battle inflation.
no, i'm not; I'm saying the democrats are genocidal losers who you're emotionally invested in making excuses for
Two comments ago in case you forgot.
it was a really great comment, thank you for finally posting something that isn't garbage
Except for the part where you want to partner with a genocidal country to save a couple bucks fueling your pickup.
oh, a return to form. let me spell it out for you
i don't drive a pickup
i oppose all wars that aren't the class war
the democrats spent all their political-economic capital by participating in a genocide and a proxy/sanctions war against a rival world power and major energy producer
the result of that proxy war was rising energy costs and an increasingly destabilized energy market due to infrastructure and supply disruptions.
those disruptions compounded with attacks on red sea traffic due to the genocide. rather than address the problem, they doubled down, tried to use force, and failed. some 'prosperity guardian'
then the democrats went on to lose the election on affordability and genocide.
maybe they should have tried negotiating and/or not been such genocidal assholes
Okay so you want to partner with a genocidal country to save a couple dollars when you fuel your SUV.
dawg i take the bus.
also you have it backwards it's the democrats who are locked in supporting israel, i want them to stop that.
The Palestine genocide got worse after the GOP got power and Russia is going to town on Ukraine so I'd say the genocides are worse now.
yeah it's unfortunate that the biden regime bungled things so badly. imagine if the dnc hadn't fixed the primary for him, maybe things wouldn't be as fucked as they are now.
Oh yeah I definitely didn't vote Biden 2024.
But if Harris got in life would be a whole lot better!
harris was the biden regime hand-picked successor, that's why they had the coronation for her instead of a primary.
she was in no way separated from those failures, couldn't even pretend to reign in israel and she ate shit because of it
why do you insist on voting for career losers anyways? is it because you want republicans to win?
You don't think a Harris presidency would be better than the Trump one we're currently living through?
You do know that at the point when Harris won her democratic primary that the only choices for president was her or Trump right?
i'm sure she would have been better, it's too bad that she and the democrats were willing to give everything up in the name of supporting israel and its genocide.
also she didn't win anything, they coronated her that time. first primary she was in she sucked ass
i can tell you are not a big fan of democracy
Being realistic about the system we’ve created for ourselves is being ‘not a big fan of democracy?’
I’m a huge fan of reality.
I don't know, if you ask me Biden's failure to prosecute Trump seems like a prime failure of action. One of far far too many. Which really goes to the core of the problem with current Democrat leadership. Promise very little delivery even less.
Not going to argue that the people that switched from Harris to Trump because of all the hubbub weren't fools. They certainly were. But they and the Bernie to Trump people are far more common and representative than informed educated voters.
It didn’t help that in the four years the administration was trying to navigate the most complicated case the American justice system has ever seen the American public decided they didn’t give a shit and put him back into the white house.
Complexity is one thing. Merrick Garland not even attempting is another. I could be understanding of the complexity if they had even behaved as if it was serous or important. They didn't. And their failure to take it seriously along with the media's failure led to this.
Jack Smith had a case built before trump got re-elected.
Unfortunately too little too late and Biden was too afraid to push it. Politics for far too long has been run on a gentleman's agreement. That one side has clearly not been honoring.
When you have a president pushing to jail his opponent it’s a delicate situation which was one of the reasons why it was the most complicated case in the judicial system’s history.
Under normal circumstances I'd agree. Under these circumstances it was a failure still.
