Who even cares while still using that thing?

If you care so much about "spying" then a Microsoft OS is not the right OS for you; you need a system that can be verified to not spy on you, which excludes all closed source OS, regardless of make.

I personally ditched windows because i didn't want to upgrade my very capable PC just that i can install Windows 11 - I would have had to swap out my mainboard or at least get myself a TPM module. I can't see the necessity for this, especially that windows 11 still runs fine without TPM. Also, the feeling that my OS would really,really like to be an advertising platform that limits what i can do to maximize profits was already overwhelming with windows 10 and only got worse with 11.
