I built a whole ass cat wall for mine and he has never ever used it. I used to try to coax him up with treats and he would just go eat the treat and then come back down.

I'm contemplating taking the thing off the wall but then I'll have a bunch of holes in the wall.

My cat is broken. He only likes to sit out in the open on couches and chairs!!

Kittens are better for this. Sometimes adult cats are just too used to their routine. Took me almost a year to get the cats to understand their cat door let them outside on their own.

Yeah my two cats are bad at being cats. I bought them a double cat bed when I first got them and they immediately went sat in it. Is it supposed to be pristine now it's got loads of fur in it. Cat aren't supposed to sit cat beds.
