Please, give me a reason that it has every been justified to take a picture of a prisoner with this sort of giddy celebration and mockery. How does that look anything but out of touch and vile?
What are the conversations, the positioning, the processes of dehumanization that lead to these moments? I'm as confused as you by these people.
How can you smile and laugh in such a carefree way when right next to you a boy is bound and blindfolded. Says so much about the moral decay on display of those 'guards'.
They grew up in a nation which per its own constitutions is unabashedly supremacist and been indoctrinated their whole lives into thinking they "need to protect their Race" and that Palestinians (and Arabs in general) are "violent" and even "vermin" whilst they themselves are superior and have "Western Values" (which they don't, unless we're talking about 19th centure white colonialist "values").
They're like Germans in the late 1920s, only unlike them, these people have been fed stories about the need to "defend our race" and their own superiority and the inferiority of those who are not of their race for DECADES, which for these two zio-SS means their whole lives.
Israelis are the XXI century NAZIs, only more so because they've been fed far longer by the Zionists the same style of supremacist pap as the NAZIs fed the Germans.
They can try an Abu Ghraib did it first, maybe it'll stick... /s
