Wait... Doesn't bc stand for before christ? I know there's also bce which is before common era which is effective the same thing but just renamed...
Well maybe I'm wrong on both!!
I know ad doesn't stand for after death but for anno domain is or something... Its latin for in the year of the lord. That's why it supposed to start when christ was born, not when he died. Otherwise there would be a 31 year gap between bc and ad
I was literally taught there was a 31 year gap between the ages, because evangelicals are special
