It looked just as bad in the movie. I think it might have been bad on purpose.

Did it? It's been a while since I watched Kill Bill, but I don't remember it being that noticeable. I don't think it was on screen for more than a couple seconds though, so I'm sure they were counting on it being hard to notice in that short time.

Oh yes. The egg head was always very noticeable.

Maybe Tarantino wanted to have it this way as an hommage to the craftsmanship in the movies of his childhood. Who knows. For some reason he did not choose CGI which would have yielded better results.

I still think both movies are great.
