Players can customize graphics settings, including up to 4x resolution upscaling, VSync support, Fullscreen and Windowed display modes, anisotropic filtering, enhanced anti-aliasing, and more. These games also include customizable language and audio settings.

Based on the language of this being an early release, I'm assuming there are more titles in the works.

$10 a piece also seems like a reasonable price, I'd probably pirate them anyway but for paying customers that seems good.

Cool, I guess. Aside from Microsoft being bad official projects like this are subject to the same copyright and license shenanigans any regular game release is. Hope the game you want to play isn't in legal limbo or that the modern IP holders are willing to play ball.

With emulators you can just grab the rom and play it. Or you could if Xbox emulation wasn't so fucking bad sicko-wistful

Compatibility lists for CXBX-R and XQEMU respectively.

Big games like Jet Set Radio Future and Panzer Dragoon Orta are playable. Wreckless, Gunvalkyrie, Group S Challenge and Otogi are "ingame" status. Needing a Xbox HDD image is annoying but both emulators work, albeit they require different game formats.
