@return2ozma In France, we also have mainstream political figures that want to overturn the rights that LGBT people managed to acquire. (For example , non cishet marriage.)
Some of them even pretend to defend LGBT+ people. (Well, specifically LG people in these cases.)

We also have (the same) political figures asking for the death sentence to sexual predators specialised in children. (Except if they are from the same clique as these politicians, of course. Bonus if the predactor is not a cishet white christian)

And we still have the lgbtphobe trope about us being sexual predators by nature, espcially toward children.
