This is one of those replies that misses the forest for the trees.
Except not really cause men love to argue about semantics and technicallities. So the metaphor should be man proof as well as accurate.
This comment is a sweeping generalization, and still qualifies as sexist. Being deliberately misandristic isn’t going to help anyone.
it certainly helps bring awareness to the fact that men are literally trained from birth to provide responses such as these to downplay women's experiences.
believe it or not, many men are not aware of this, and think they are being clever or playing devils advocate, when in reality, it aims to invalidate entire scenarios on a "technicality".
honestly if you think a proven statement like men invalidating women's experiences is sexist or is misandry you should probably take a step back and realize you're one of them.
