Correct, so far it seems the lettuce is from Mexico, and it's not the first time this has happened (outbreaks during the spring and summer are pretty common, regardless of administration).

So funny meme I guess, but is is pretty shitty when you think about it.
In this case It's less about the source and more about the cuts to FDA/CDC to trace and mitigate. Like it was US-based lettuce that was the problem then obviously there's be an additional layer of accountability.
That said, it's way bigger of an outbreak than we've had in decades
