It was pretty good! I sat next to a high-school aged kid who seemingly knew nothing about the odyssey yet was arguably the hypest person in the theater going "
LET'S GOO" whenever they blinded the poor cyclops and was angry as hell at Telemachus (he literally shouted 'DO SOMETHING' during the contest fight) & as a result my experience was heightened.
Definitely recommend seeing it on the biggest screen you can; I went to my local museum's imax which can do 1.43:1 and it was great. There are several scenes where I felt like I was on the damn ship.
No cyclops dong but I was blessed with one ass thanks to Circe my beloved.....

I agree it was pretty fun and also could have been improved with more dong
But yeah some scenes were done pretty well, the cyclops was actually pretty unnerving and the bone cracking and body horror during the pig scene did make me flinch a couple of times.
Unfortunately the other cinema goers weren't hype like yours, I just had one guy with the flu behind us loudly sniffing every five seconds. Poor guy, I hope I don't get what he had.
More dong and honestly a bit more of the gods. I was so mad only Athena made an appearance. I wanted Hermes to show up and help them poor piggies.
