The post is incorrect to begin with. I don't know the source of the photo, but in Thailand, the service is based on a lottery for men. You may easily never roll it. There are many thai students (girls too) that do military training during their high school years on some days and don't have to serve later. Also, this transitioning strategy will work in most countries in the world as most of them don't allow transwomen.

"Trans women" should be written separately, as "trans" is an adjective.

"transwomen" and "transmen", on the other hand, are common dog whistles used by science denires to imply trans people are in a category of their own.

*won't work But yes, even in "developed" countries it's a whole process and they might still force you to serve. (I wouldn't have been able to doge it since I'm too old to transition or whatever, but depression saved me)
