Is it really that hard to say “I was wrong about Platner. I’m sorry.” ? That’s all you need to say. You don’t need to self flagellate unless you want to and you especially don’t need to act like people were wrong to judge Platner earlier like Ken does in this article.

Writing off all the earlier stuff as “the most Maine shit ever” just makes it look like people from Maine are assholes. It also excuses Platner’s toxic behavior as “boys will be boys”

I think what pisses me off most about Platner and anyone trying to defend his earlier shit is that this is a repeat of Biden in ‘24. Another man who thinks he’s entitled to lead is actually unqualified and has wasted everyone’s time, money, and energy. And a bunch of people put winning an election over doing what’s best for the country.

If Republicans hold the senate expect to get an even more hard right Supreme Court (or at least maintain the status quo) as they try to solidify power before ‘28. So thanks for that Graham Platner.
