Eh. I just don't understand why satire has to be branded, this brand should be dead and buried. It's not like it was even a serious news program before, so I don't know what they are making fun of, it was already ridiculous

They're making fun of their fans. I think you underestimate the value of controlling a media empire.

Like, if the Fox corporation was sued into oblivion, it would not be better to let it die. It would be better to... Use it for actual news, because of its enormous reach.

Tim has been making fun of Alex Jones for over a decade. Him doing the voice perfectly isn't new. Getting the opportunity to satirize Alex Jones media empire with a direct pipeline to his entire audience is literally invaluable to him as a comedian/artist.

It's totally on brand for Tim.
