I am with you but for your use of "authoritarian"

Is revolution not one of the ultimate expressions of authority? The masses seasing authority and spending the monopoly of violence, turning it against the oppressor?

Just something to think about whenever you see bourgeois media using the term.

Authoritarianism is a minority using overleveraged power to exert itself on the majority mate.

All authority comes from a minority. There’s always going to be less politicians and cops than there is people that they govern. Even on the occasion that a person who’s isnt from the bourgeoisie minority gets elected, their materials conditions and therefore material interests change from those of the majority as soon as they take office.

Walk to the nearest street fight or protest for a shop being closes and see how much authority there is in that expression.

"Authority" means a lot beyond simply "go there and do things".
