It's sad to see what Tim Sweeney has become, he was a gaming pioneer.
He was a cool programmer, but just like Carmack, he is not meant to manage a company.
As time goes by, I am also increasingly convinced that it's rather Cliff Bleszinski's game design that made Epic what it was.
CliffyB is the real MVP
Laura Fryer's YouTube takes provide some interesting insider insight into that era.
I miss Jazz Jackrabbit
Carmack seems fine for the most part. id's equivalent to Sweeny is probably Tim Willits.
