In the Nordic countries, especially Denmark and Sweden, but not in Iceland, snaps (pronounced [ˈsnaps], Finnish: snapsi), among many nicknames, is a small shot of a strong alcoholic beverage taken during the course of a meal.
Oh I was imagining something more romantic, like young men forced to live a double life by the pressures of society, finding this lodge and finally able to express their love and desire for each other.
Now I'm kind of sad.
Just imagine some clandestine meeting of some horny Swedish lads, it probably happened. Think or how thrilled they'd be at how far we've come.
