It won't. There countless amount of benchmark proofs at this point, you free to check them out.
There like, 2 or 3 scenarios where linux actually faster and/or gives more FPS in games in all other cases it's either on par, or worse than windows.
But, you free to cope.
The mentioned "fix" got nothing to do with games.
Commenter below arguing it is about games, why can't I use same point?
This isn't about gaming, where Linux has all kinds of disadvantages on the software side.
This is about OS performance, where Linux is just objectively lighter than Windows.
