Wait, you can hang yourself at the beginning of disco Elysium?
I think she's misremembering having a heart attack from jumping for the tie.
I did kind of like that Zero Parades doesn't kill you if you run out of "health", it takes away a level from a skill and resets the health bar.
But since there's no time limit that actually matters you can just sleep off any damage so it's not a real threat. So much of the game relies on you thinking there's a time pressure.
