I think he's going to need more test plus his final treatment before he gets there.

You're welcome. I can only imagine if it were me and my parent how angry, frightened and weary I may be, especially because of complicated relationships.
It sounds like everything worked out as well as it could for him, so far. Hopefully it got it all, and you can enjoy seeing him become much more comfortable and healthy again
