Does anyone know any open source alternatives to Bitwarden?

Saw this on r*ddit the other day and started looking into KeePassXC, but it's already starting to get on my nerves a little bit. There's no easy way to sync it with phone. My options are either to mount Google Drive and place the database directly there, or, to have a local copy and have it synced with a cloud service I need to use KeePassXC + rclone (both apps on Flathub to manage it are some of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had) + Syncthing to keep it in sync with my phone.

I'm not one to get mad at FLOSS software, but fuck this, is it really that hard to implement some sort of device syncing and cloud backup?

In the same vein, Signal for some fucking reason just can't show notifications for the few people I have there so they just ghost me forever, and SimpleX doesn't even have a way for me to use it outside my phone because it doesn't have profile sync on multiple devices, one of the most basic features every other message app have.

Sorry for the rant but this shit drives me crazy, I wish I had the knowledge to code so I would do it myself.

Felt this in my soul lol. I just switched from Bitwarden to KeePassXC yesterday and it’s definitely a headache... since it doesn't sync I was so paranoid about losing my passwds forever that I just hid a backup in my email

The one upside is the security though, bcz knowing I have 100% control makes it feel like my own super safe personal space that no one else can see or even knows exists lol

The sense os security is great, but why does it have to be so hard to have some of the most basic features lol
