I honestly don’t think they’ve thought that far ahead. Armed with an inadequate understanding of the current reality they are under equipped to handle the future. That’s why they love 80s futurism ai slop and reference movies bullshit whenever they talk about it. my-hero shit.

Now, the real ice chewers are doing things like surveillance tech and panopticon shit, they’re more worrisome, but now they’re also going in for this ai shit, because it was all rooted in the same tech, but since they are also myopic capitalists I don’t know where their ambitions lie except, I kinda guess, a DARPA robot stamping on a human face forever.

Maybe they’ll offer us some social mobility by allowing us to sell them our children? I can see them dreaming that kind of shit up and calling it largesse.
