They die, or get slaughtered. What happens to the surplus population is none of their concern.
There's a whole lot of overlap between AI guy ideology and what is ecofascism in all but name. Somehow this works out for them because uh there's no drug like the hubris of a mediocre white man with too much fucking money? It'd be amusing if they didn't control so many of the levers of power.
I like how ubi got shelved and the techbros are like "nah we're just going to fucking kill you". Very cool, love it.

For real, you'd think that kind of death and destruction might move someone to reconsider the consequences of their actions, or what they've done with their lives, but the AI dudes are high on their own supply. Maybe once the stench gets into their bunker they'll care?
