As someone who has had the displeasure of once trying to work with the [USA] medical system, this is going to ruin lives. People will end up denied treatment because of notes on medical files they have not seen. This is already occurring with the biases in human practitioners—now add on the AI hallucinations. People are going to die.
ive heard some networks, insurance already use AI to write post-appointment notes into your record. which if found inaccurate is pretty much hard to amend.
