I have seen that scene played for laughs so many times that you're a hack if you bring it up even to parody it, because it is so played out.
I would never in my life think I would actually see it played straight. What the fuck.

And if you're thinking "well that's Eric Kripke" then you might be right, but I figure he's the showrunner, so he probably doesn't write a lot of the details for each episode. And if it was him, then the dialogue would probably have been ass always. Or maybe not, people change. But I'm making a list and I'm working my way up through it.
