I need to find out who writes the dialogue for The Boys and beat them to death with every single script Joss Whedon, Taylor Sheridan and whatever other bunch of hacks I can think of, wrote up. (hexbear.net)

I have seen that scene played for laughs so many times that you're a hack if you bring it up even to parody it, because it is so played out.
I would never in my life think I would actually see it played straight. What the fuck.

And if you're thinking "well that's Eric Kripke" then you might be right, but I figure he's the showrunner, so he probably doesn't write a lot of the details for each episode. And if it was him, then the dialogue would probably have been ass always. Or maybe not, people change. But I'm making a list and I'm working my way up through it.

I forgot to mention Sister Sage. Smartest person on the world "Love is not logical" SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GO BACK TO WRITING FOR ABSOLUTE BABIES WHO ARE WRITING FOR THE FIRST TIME 101 WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF THOUGHTLESS CLICHE SHIT IS THIS STICK YOUR HEAD IN A BARREL FULL OF MOLLASSES AND DON'T TAKE IT OUT UNTIL YOU'RE DEAD FROM DROWNING IN THE BARREL FULL OF MOLASSES <- That was less tryhard than the most well-written line this season. I need them to know they suck. I need to know who it is that has written these lines so I can find them and make them understand that they should never write anything ever again. I need to bring back Marx from the dead and make him a sloplord so he can be as mad about this as I am and then write a scathing blog titled something like "the Boys - a juvenile load" I don't know I'm not Marx I'm not snarky enough.

I fucking hate the "being immortal sucks" trope. Once saw a sketch I've been searching for since: guy gets immortality and does not regret it because there is so much beauty in the world.
