I got a new analog clock for my kitchen since the old one I had for decades finally gave out. I grew up with these things, it wasn't until I was a bit older that digital came to dominate clockspace. Anyway I have a thing where like I'll look at the time on my phone, and then forget what time it is five mins later. Unlike if I look at a clock face I end up remembering and keeping track of the time.

Nah, it's a tool. It's just as much a tool of oppression as precisely measuring space or precisely measuring other measurable quantities. Capitalists absolutely use this tool against us, but a proper revolution will certainly require good time management.
