Humans are capable of “peaks” too. We can’t exert our full power for a sustainable hour either.

When considering human-powered equipment, a healthy human can produce about 1.2 hp (0.89 kW)briefly (see orders of magnitude) and sustain about 0.1 hp (0.07 kW) indefinitely;

But yeah, horses outclass us anyways.

True that. But it was an attempt at humour because life seems to go just downhill without very many peaks
