I thought you were joking but that’s actually true. No census has ever placed the population of Ulster County above 183,300, according to Wikipedia.

Nobody said the contest voters had to be registered voters in that county. I'm guessing fellow students and families voted, too.

I'm willing to bet, as usual, it got posted on 4Chan or Reddit or something, and trolls from other places voted on it. I find it highly unlikely that even half of the residents voted on this.
