I had a Logitech wheel/pedals/shifter rig for Gran Turismo on PS3. It was pretty fun, and I may abuse that for teaching my kid how to drive. "You aren't allowed behind the wheel of your mother's Toyota until you can place top 3 in Laguna Seca without using the goddamned Red Bull car. Also, I am modding the controller to include a turn signal stalk. Pray I don't mod it any further."

I taught myself how to backup a trailer using a sim racing wheel and one of those tractor trailer sim games. Very helpful for me because I'd get anxiety when trying to do it in real life
