It's pretty much saying "I like to sit in my chair and pretend to be a racecar driver."

Would it be better if they're into rally or F1?

And would it be worse if it was a VR headset or multiple screens?

well they're definitely in a different tax bracket than me so that alone already makes me apprehensive. but i fucking love cars. hate them realistically. like i would love to live in an actually walkable place and in so many ways our reliance on cars is literally ruining everything that makes the world beautiful or even habitable. but goddamn, i love rally i love f1 i love supercars even. at least they're not out here actually being rich assholes making people's lives worse for the money to get their dream cars but, isn't that the goal for a lot of them?

edit: i didn't even put it together that this is in the context of dating my answer is outside of that context LOL

Cars are fine as a hobby/recreation. Racing doesn't cause congestion and it's a miniscule portion of pollution. That's not the issue with cars. It's the sheer necessity of them in daily life when most people would be perfectly happy to be without one if they could still get to work and shop without major hassle.

There’s also actually electric race cars, even some competition circuits for them, Formula E. They are slightly slower, but have stronger acceleration. Still very fast tho to be clear.

Technically, we're looking at an electric race car right there

I'd allow cars for one type of Motorsport only, then I got thinking and rally makes a lot of sense for that because it doesn't require any further infrastructure. You just drive on the same roads everyone uses everyday and a bunch of small towns get to shut down once a year to watch the rally
