I’d really love for these types to explain why dems being anti-genocide was a bridge too far, despite it being the thing that would’ve won them the election by their logic and, y’know, being the morally correct position.
Because these people put their own well being above all others and see the genocide as an inconvenient footnote that shouldn't decide the election and therefore their own comfort.
Imagine being so gung ho about Isntreal despite its ramoant global unpopularity but then eventually it's revealed that they're not going around threatening the Samson option every day and the average congressperson really did just have a price tag ~14k
Because you must always vote for the lesser evil and you don't have the luxury to think about the long term consequences. This is THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION OF ALL TIME GOD DAMMIT!
