I don't know what the guy commented on; if the issue was about the amounts being reported or the difference between the sides. There's so much reporting on Russian losses but not much on Ukraine's. I'd been wondering how they were fairing. Definitely a lot worse comparotively, if the numbers are accurate. Ukraine's pop is like a quarter of Russia's.

The media usually reports casualties, not just deaths and MIA. Probably because it makes things look worse, but it's also useful to know how many people can no longer fight.

Well you can see how they're faring from what Budanov says in the link I provided above. The fact that Ukraine has to resort to using brutal forced mobilization while Russia hasn't is another indicator of how things are going.
