I was told by some mouth foaming Putin fan on the other site that when the tanks were running out of fuel and breaking down on the road in the early days that it was all part of the plan. Yup, all part of the plan. Sigh. Turns out it wasn't and here we are.
At some point, we have to take the toys away from the children. No more war.
And that was followed by
"They haven't sent in their real elite forces yet, these are just conscripts to soak up the Ukraine forces and ammunition"
And Then
"They never wanted to capture Kyiv (of course it was not spelt this way...). It was just a feint"
And so on as each new copium point replaced the last one.
agreed, stop giving the children (ukraine) toys ("game-changing" western equipment that doesn't change the outcome of the conflict)
This logic of "please do not give Ukraine weapons, so that Russia can quickly capture it and thus there will be peace on earth" always seems to me as insane. How people seriously can suggest this is beyond my understanding. The only plausible explanation I can find is trolling.
It's some award-winning Neville Chamberlain style strategy.
Look at their instance. Almost all the anti-ukrainian trolls are coming from the same instance.
Well now there's lemmygrad AND hexbear. Both are chock full of this insanity
Lemmygraders are tankies who have never read a history book.
Hexbear are tankies who have read many, but reject their content as CIA propaganda.
Ah! He is a tankie from lemmygrad.
lemmygrad again what a surprise...
You're actually right, they won't change the outcome.
It'll just make the Ukrainian victory quicker than it would have been without the equipment.
Repeating fantasies over and over doesn't make them materialize, Ukraine can't win a war of attrition against Russia.
And yet you keep repeating the fantasy of letting Russia win
It's not "letting", there are no other choices other than to accept that Ukraine can't win or spiral down into further delusion.

There are all sorts of choices.
Russia could come to their senses and leave.
Russia could continue wasting their resources until they have to accept unconditional surrender.
Russia or an ally could go even more pants on head stupid than they already are and do something that triggers a NATO Article 5 response.
You really need to feel this in what's left of your soul
And yet, they are. If the Russian command had any sense, they'd roll back to their side of the border.
