The dems lost to Donald fucking Trump, twice, because they prefered losing to giving the people scraps.
Leftist policy helps the people who you are asking to vote for you. Typical dem policy helps nobody except the dem's billionaire donors. Free Healthcare for example is infinitely more popular than any means-tested, market-based solution guys like Jeffreys would accept.
We don't have billions of dollars in military-industrial complex funding behind us.
Do you think that means the AIPAC candidates are more electable in a general or that even if they did win, their polucy would be in our interest?

Things need to change, and change fucking drastically, or we'll just get another Trump again in the near future. Our politics are deeply corrupt and you cannot expect those of us not dunking our heads in the kool-aid to be chill with neoliberal oligarchy.

Republicans are deeply corrupt. Private interest groups will forever be trying to influence all politicians. For example, progressives like Fetterman and Sinema. That won’t change until citizens untied is undone. Leftists aren’t immune to it and pretending that it indicates “both sides r same” is a bad faith argument that the GOP has been using for decades.
Both parties do not have the same goals and just because private interest groups will never stop trying to influence them doesn’t mean the parties themselves have the same goals.
Big laugh from this. This country is locked into a two party system and one of them unfortunately isn't "leftist". Same with a bunch of other political ideologies.
Either way, taking the stance of "you're losers, so you better vote for us" is really convincing, just sayin. If you want leftists to vote dem like they are a monolith, then dems have to act like a monolith and not like a bucket catching scraps.
They take money from the same oligarchs. They hide donor sources through superpacs. They trade stocks with government intel. They harbor incredible resentment for the poor. They throw our tax dollars at bombs used to kill children. How exactly are their goals that different?
This is a democracy. If leftists are losing then it is because they are unpopular with voters. If leftists want to change that it is up to them. Historically they find and excuse not to vote every election which is why the government has moved right.
Leftists always take this “our way or the highway” stance and look all pikachu faced when voters choose the highway.
If you really can’t tell the difference between the goals of the two parties then you are intentionally not looking.
Republicans want to make it illegal to be trans while dems have trans politicians fighting for trans rights. This is just one of many blatantly obvious differences that you pretend don’t exist so you can continue your bad faith argument if “both sides same”.

This is a good example of why leftists can’t win elections and why they are a liability to anyone that tries to court them.
In a democracy you have to find common ground with people you don’t agree with on everything. Because if you don’t, you don’t have a chance at winning like leftists.

Leftists aren’t asking anything, they are demanding that the majority of voters do what a small minority of leftists want without trying to win over voters. They do this while attacking the Democratic Party that give leftists a platform. Oblivious to the fact that it makes them unpopular with democrat voters.
The obvious answer that shouldn’t need to be explained to you is Voters. In a democracy voters decide these things and when leftist don’t vote they contribute to the outcome you’re complaining about.

The only conclusion we can draw from dem actions is that they agree with genocide, ICE, allocating healthcare by wealth, etc, but know its unpopular with the people whose votes they're asking for.
You know what doesn't help? Telling people to shut the fuck up and vote for a party that openly despises them.
You know what can help? Keeping people activated on their issues. This only works if the dems don't stand up to their own base.

When dems have the power to stop a thing, and don't, this implies they agree with the thing. When dems continue republican policies after they take power, it implies they support that policy.
Of course… if republicans want to cut taxes for the rich then special interest groups will run propaganda to convince voters to support it.
If republicans want to run an oil pipeline through our water supply then special interests groups will bribe and manipulate the right people to make it happen. Going so far as to ignore science and convince their voters climate change isn’t real.

What is actually happening is leftists are demanding their way or the highway and voters are pointing out the fact that leftists aren’t popular enough to win nationwide elections and not voting will just cause the government to move right.
Since most leftists don’t actually care about winning elections as much as complaining about dems, leftist choose to let the government slide further right.
In a democracy the majority decides. And when that happens leftist complain they’re being told to “shut the fuck up”.
You know what's really easy to get voters to support? Policy that helps them and isn't bogged down with complicated means-testing, tax credits, and other shit that ultimately amounts to "This policy isn't for you".
Blue maga spent every day since October of 2023 doing this shit. Hell even in the run up to 2016 "Hey, running on popular policy is more electable than whatever the fuck this is"
We don't have a democracy then, since the majority do not want genocide. Yet the dems preferred losing to not aiding genocide.
