This show pissed me off when they tried to make that one guy fighting for liberation look like an extremist.

I think they're talking about Jet here. But there sure is a pattern in this show of the oppressed fighting back against their oppressors going "too far" soviet-hmm

Actually, attacking those settlers makes you just as bad as the racist invading army.

Presumably there's an actual resistance movement that's engaging with the fire nation militarily and not just targeting random civilian infrastructure. Whatever Sokka and Katara's dad is doing between appearances. We just don't see it because kids show.

Didn't they also try to chalk the invading fire army settling on the land as civilians, too? Like respectfully I kinda don't care if your family gets mogged by a rocket fired from Hezbollah, you're kinda breaking international law?
