This feels like Sony saw Markiplier make a movie and wanted to jump on that in hopes it also generated hype

I'm not familiar with his work, but I haven't heard anything worrying about him. Do you reckon he's good for the job?

Bloodborne is his favorite game, plus he's a "producer" not director or something where a bunch of the creative responsibility would be on him. IMO his name being attached to the project does give me a bit of reassurance that it will be respectful of the source and not just be a Sony cash-grab.

Cool, good to know! I'm ready to get excited, I love the lore and aesthetic of Bloodborne. It'll be super interesting to see what kind of script they come up with.
