The republicans are. It's completely the GOPs fault for all of this. Never forget they are all enabling Trump, they selected Trump, they supported him, they protect him, they profit off him, they use him, they have all the power they need to stop this shit and everyday choose not to.
The republicans are traitors and idiots and are solely responsible for Donald Trump.
Found on an Iranian Telegram:
"As for people betting "Trump" won't use nuclear weapons - they still don't get "Trump" isn't in charge of anything.
This is an all-or-nothing bid by the US to maintain primacy over the planet before losing it permanently.
The unelected US corporate-financier establishment - pushing for wars since the inception of America as a nation - have ALREADY USED NUCLEAR WEAPONS - TWICE!!!
They considered using them on Korea, Vietnam, and even as recently as Afghanistan.
DO NOT let the US pin this solely on a single politician, or an administration or a US proxy. Make sure EVERYONE involved is blamed and held accountable.
This is called compartmentalization - dividing up your political fronts when dirty work is required so you can flush the consequences down with one or more of these fronts while keeping the political whole more or less intact.
The US literally does this every 4-8 years with presidents and scores of wars of aggression and other horrible foreign and domestic policies - and they will do it with this time as well.
It wasn't "Clinton," "Bush," or "Obama's" wars (although they are accomplices and equally guilty) - they are Wall Street and Washington wars - every single one of them - no matter who is picked to sell them and take the fall for them.
If you never expose and hold Wall Street and Washington as a whole accountable, they will continue their compartmentalization game forever without end."
Correct: Statesian foreign policy has been fairly consistent. Internationally it matters less whether it's a republican or a democrat in the white house (the biggest change is how much funding USAID gets and where it goes. Everything else remains consistent. At least that's how it looks to me because I move in the nonprofit/NGO world) It's where we see the ratchet effect most clearly.
Yes, and no. Yes the GOP is pushing for all of this madness and obstructing any efforts to reign it in. But as much as it pains me to admit, most people in the US bear some culpability. In theory, if everyone old enough and well enough to do so unsupervised, traveled to their state capital or major city and basically flooded the streets with protesters, effectively halting all traffic and commerce, and refused to move until Trump was gone and the war was stopped, this shit would probably stop. Similarly, if everyone refused to work or spend any money, aside from the absolute bare minimum, this shit would stop. Of course there are a million reasons why this won’t happen. It weighs heavily on me that I’m still paying taxes and generally behaving despite the clear need for drastic action.
Putting this on the working poor is ridiculous. Most workers are not in a position to be as politically active as you want, or would be required. Just living requires all of our effort, especially after a decade of runaway inflation and job losses. Most of us under a relentless threat of poverty. Jeopardizing employment or income isn't feasible. Living minimalist lives isn't endurable.
That's like blaming the delivery driver when a gun sold at a store is used in a crime. Sure there's a casual chain, but it's not reasonable to place the blame there. MAGA elected these nuts, and the GOP and all its financial and political backers continue to enable and profit from them without regard to the consequences to others. We can debate how much blame to place where win the casual chain or argue who should have acted differently but the people with the gun in their hand who pulls the trigger is the most, and overwhelming, to blame.
Trump is the festering boil caused by the US refusing to wash its fucking arse
lol
Treasonous pieces of shit who need to be flushed down the drain with the rest of the administration.
And the only people who have that power, and will to do so, are preoccupied with working to survive.
