What I pointed out is that Canada has not substantially changed its policy towards First Nations.

It has, and your posts made no attempt to make that argument.

Canada is obviously not attempting to commit genocide today the way Hitler did. Once again, this is an absurd claim I never made. It's just something you made up instead of engaging with the atrocities that Canada is actually committing against First Nations that I listed. You're a very lazy and transparent troll. If you think I am a "transparent troll," you might need to get some perspective. I have literally never been anything but honest with you. But I guess it's easier to repeat falsehoods, twist truths, and mislead others when you accuse anyone who disagreed with you of lying.

Literally the only purpose of this main level post is to equate Canada's past behaviour to Hitler's ideology. Then, in response to a very simple "good thing we've verbally and legally recognized these past faults and literally are not doing the thing Hitler described," you double down. Meanwhile you dismiss that the majority of these atrocities were hard stopped in the 80s with the death of residential schools, a point you brought up yourself, while the others have slowly been brought to light, culminating in the Truth and Reconciliation act. And yet you have the audacity to act coy about the purpose of this thread when someone with a real reading comprehsion is willing to call you out on it. Get real.

I'm not sure what you think "game" is, but if you see trolling around a niche community like Lemmy and trying to spread discontent with Canadian government as "game" that you've become good at, I can happily say that I am glad you perceive me as being on the outside of that. It's not something people need in their lives.

Sure, appreciate that. I'm on my way to bed, so I'll have a little fun with it. It's not like anyone else is this deep in this dead thread anyway, so really this is just for me and you. Might as well have a little reflection.

Sometimes I find myself with a bit of free time, and I enjoy telling off Internet bullies and lying fascists. It makes the world a marginally better place, and it's entertaining watching them turn to belittling and infantilizing others in an attempt to make themselves seem strong, knowing that reasonable people see the squirming and know what's going on. It feels good, and makes the world a tiny bit better, so it's a win/win. Besides, I can just put down my phone and go back to my very satisfying life when I am bored of it. It's easy to put it away, so why not make sure that fascists lies are apparent to anyone else who stumbles in, you know?

"no u" isn't the own you seem to think it is, and the lies you love to parade aren't fooling very many people. We've both seen it frequently in the passing months. You like to bring up downvotes in a dead thread with one lurker, but this means you've seen how absolutely blasted you get on the regular when you spew your bullshit. It's nice to know that you've been checking the votes all that time, and you must be well aware by now how little of your propaganda is being consumed. I hope that you're in it for yourself then, at least. I can put down my phone with a smile on my face and not load Lemmy for two weeks because at the end of the day I only pop on here when so want to entertain myself. I can't imagine how much it just hurt to come here looking for some kind of gratification, only to have to put on the Internet though guy schtick and watch downvotes roll in if you actually need that satisfaction for some reason.

I think what I'm trying to say is, I hope whatever happened to leave you playing these games, day in day out, gets better. My experience is that no one turns to these extremist ideologies, and plays mental gymnastics like this, when they're well. So, seriously, I hope things get better. Maybe one day you'll look back and feel a little embarassed, but know you're better now. At least, I'd like to think everyone is capable of that. But who knows? You might genuinely read this and continue to tell yourself that I am some troll who's fuming at the things you post, or whatever nonsense you use to validate yourself. But I can't be more frank here: I've really, truly, been nothing but honest. Not always correct, sure, but never dishonest. I do wonder if you can say the same.
