I'd say this person definitely did not read I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream otherwise they'd have remembered what AM did to Benny and Ellen (cw for what's basically conversion therapy lobotomies)

but on the other hand yeah AM would literally just say whatever to get the biggest reaction out of people
