As everyone else here has said, this is quite uncanny. I think it is the way this trailer kind of acts like the movies don't exist? Like no one knows what a "Harry Potter" is or something, despite it being one of the most recognizable franchises in the world?
Also why did they use the most generic soundtrack for a trailer I think I've ever heard, maybe that was AI generated? The films have a pretty iconic soundtrack, so it is really weird for them to replace that with bland nothing.
And CHUDs seem to be malding about this already because as we all know, black people don't exist in the UK so how dare they have black actors playing roles in this tv show. I'm sure all the CHUD grifters will be eating well, making content about how this show sucks because woke.
Rowling really hates that so much of the original films cast doesnt support (or worse, actively speaks against) her transphobic shit iirc, so it doesnt suprise me newpotter stuff is acting like the movies dont exist
