Definitely has felt like a more welcoming community. Each comment on Reddit I made I had to mentally brace for the inevitable bot and troll replies. Constant fights.

Here I haven't seen much of it. Some people honestly trying to understand my points of view! Very refreshing

Hi former redditor here. I shall now insult your mother to help you feel at home.

Here it comes.

Are you ready?

I hope you are ready.

Your mother is slightly overweight.

I hope this helps in the transition process .

Wow! It's like I'm on Reddit!

One of the great things is no adds. No matter how I tried to block the “he gets us” add it always got me back.

That’s a small part of why Apollo was so great. You just got what you asked for, plus a lil pixel pal at the end there. RIP Hector the Bat

Glad you’re here! I was a Reddit 1%’r and left when the3rd party apps were killed off. Wasn’t sure where I was going to go but I knew it wasn’t there.

Ram across a post on arstechnica about this app and the feddiverse, and here I am.

I can tell the paint isn’t even dry yet but damn, I’m happy to be here, too.

I ran across a couple of comments on Ars Technica that mentioned moving to Lemmy. I'd never heard of it before.
