I dont think they actually make a good case that our supply is fragile. Actual its the opposite. Sure we dont domestically produce and refine crude but we do have the option to buy from multiple nearby refineries and can buy from further if we really needed. We stock ~50 days supply of fuel to buffer short term shock. The only thing that is bottlenecking supply is crude extraction capacity.
As long as crude is flowing we are fine. Currently we havent be unable to get a shipment of Petrol.
You aren’t not correct but double negatives can be difficult to understand.
