Mmm, maybe originally or theoretically, but not in practice. At least not online, or not in Lemmy. Usually what I've seen is the word used by someone who can't accept the realities of Western supremacy and American imperialism and feels your "criticism" and moral judgement of it is too harsh.
Dunno. I see the type who tries to push another type of supremacy and imperialism as some kind of an alternative, don't care what shorthand term they have
