These currency updates don't get pushed through rapidly. This design was created during the Biden admin, and will only be issued for a year. It's supposedly a callback to some revolutionary war iconography? Still ass, and it makes this quote especially funny:

Trump-appointed U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach told Fox News. "While the Biden administration and Secretary Yellen remained focused on DEI and Critical Race Theory policies, the Trump administration is dedicated to fostering prosperity and patriotism. We have no doubt these new designs will be wildly popular with the American people."

The Trump admin literally didn't design this. Trump signed the law in January 2021, right before the Biden admin took over.
