didn’t france build one of these, and then the people in the neighboring village bought rocket launchers and threatened to blow it up. or is this a different technology?
I remember the problem was that instead of a meltdown these reactors turn into a bomb if the reaction gets out of control.
That’s fast neutron. China also has those as the most readily available technology for closing the fuel cycle. This is a convoluted accelerator driven system.
